A detailed value stream mapping exercise was conducted to identify areas of risk and opportunity. Rapid Process Improvement Workshops (RPIWs)were implemented to ā€˜5Sā€™ the workplace. Visual inventory controls were designed and implemented to ensure the benefits from the RPIWs.

Business Outcome

This project reduced excess inventory by 60%, significantly reduced the required space for the process and reduced the overall cost of leasing and carrying inventory by $700K. The ROI on this project was 2 months.
